HERBACEOUS: A wine that has the aromas and flavors or herbs are said to be herbaceous. Often times found in Sauvignon Blancs, Cabernets, Merlots and Southern Rhones. Can be extremely pleasant at times, adding considerably complexity. Other times it can be a detriment when too strong or primary.
