To The Panel
Obviously,
the Panel was put on hiatus, though there are plans in the works
to bring it back. The reason we let the Panel go was because
of other pressing business concerns. I opened a new wine
shop in December of 2003 and it had to become my focus. It
turned out that the time requirements were even more than
I thought they would be. I have recently brought in a new
partner for the shop which is going to help me tremendously
and will ultimately free up enough time for me to bring this
back. Right now the plans are to start it up again during
the summer of 2005.
In the
meantime, I have brought back the archives for people to peruse.

Panel has been created to provide timely reports on wines
for people
who are looking for knowledgeable and timely sources of information
to help guide their purchases and don't feel up to keeping
informed
with the tasting notes provided on our various forums.
The following
four individuals make up The Panel:
Brad Harrington, Eric Anderson,
George Palmer and Dave Clark.
We hope
to cover timely reviews of wines from every region and every varietal.
House tastings may also be featured on occasion.
Our emphasis
will be on the mid to premium level wine market. Occasional reviews
of low cost alternatives that we believe will interest our readers
will also be included.
We also
plan on inviting guests to participate in our tastings from time
to time.
Wines are
provided from a number of different sources that include direct
purchase and sample submission.
