For instance, Marc's post about the Dönnhoff Oberhäuser. Not only has his title disappeared, but if using the post time app to bring up the post, the reader is unable to use either the "Reply" or "Quote" function. I planned to help out the post with a reply using the name of the wine, but was unable at accomplish that.

Boyce, that issue and the one you brought up yesterday have been going on ever since the forum software was updated. I've deleted 3 or 4 new topic posts I've attempted to make (at least I could successfully delete them) when my post subject turned up blank as Marc's recent one did. And there have been a couple of other new topic posts I've wanted to make but figured it was pointless since they would probably not show up either.

Brad and Rod are aware of this glitch - sounds like it's not easy to fix though.

It requires downgrading the PHP we use. I've done that, except it's not been able to be set as the active PHP for the website. The new machine has a number of files locked down in such a way that I believe is making it so the software we're using to do the downgrade can't replace certain files. When I do the obvious change by hand, the websites crash and won't run at all.

I think I know where to do with this, but I've been out of town for a few days where I was not able to do anything. I expect it to be done this week, one way, or another.

Thanks very much, Rod. We appreciate all you do behind the scenes to keep the site working.

Thanks, Rod. I'm sure this is taking much more of your time than you'd like, and I will echo Boyce's "thank you" for all the work you've been putting into this.

Yep, I saw Brad's post here on the issue, but hadn't seen any announcement more recently and didn't know if work was still going on behind the scenes or if it needed to be reported. Glad to know Rod's on top of it.

Hey! The quote function works here! Glitchy stuff for sure!

I believe things should be working. The test case Ken previously sent me now works.
