2016 Guadagni Family Wines Zinfandel 1906 Block Dry Creek Valley

Intense, but pretty, nose of blackberries. The fruit on the palate is deep and lush, blackberries, anise, smoke. Still just a bit primary, but the stuffing is there to develop. Firm, polished tannins, bright acidity, fine balance. Finishes very long with dark fruits, spice, raspberries. I'd give this another 2 to 3 years to develop or decant it. "A-" with an upside.
