2000 Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Cuvee Le Chene St. Etienne

It's been 5 years since I last tasted this wine and it continues to impress. Burnished gold in color. A light honey/lemon nose. On the palate honey, lemon, floral notes, brilliant acidity, viscous mouthfeel. Lively acidity, great balance. Finishes long, long with white pepper, minerals, fine acidity. Gets better with air and time in the glass. Brilliant wine and still not headed down any time soon. "A+"
