Found this odd/unknown wine at Koko so we tried it last night:
1. Terraprima Massis del Garraf WW (12.5%; www.Canrafolsdelscaus.com; 30-65 yr old vines; Xaral-lo/Riesling) Can Rafals dels Caus/Avinyonet/Penedes/Spain 2015: Med.gold color; quite floral/peach/mango/grapey some stony/chalky/mineral slight herbal/musky/bit SB-like very attractive/fragrant bit metallic some complex nose; quite tart/tangy/bit metallic fairly floral/mango/peachy/grapey fairly rich bit herbal/musky some mineral/chalky bit complex flavor; very long some herbal/grapey/musky bit tangy/metallic some floral/mango/peach some mineral/stony/chalky finish; reminds some of a heavy-weight R from Sudtirol, some of a Pigato from Liquria; quite an attractive white at a good price. $17.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. A new wine for me. Comes from vnyds perched on cliffsides above the Med just South of Barcelona. Terrain looks a lot like Liguria. It was an EricSolomon Slctn so I was confident it would be good.
