Fully cloudy with a black purple core and washed out ruby to violet rims, throws a great deal of sediment. The nose is all roasted cherry, blackberry fruit, wet horsehide, leather, black earth, wet grass and leaves, it has been reduced to its basic constituent elements, vacates your nostrils before reaching a natural dissolve. Medium-bodied, incredibly sour and biting, minerals, wet black earth, leather, animal fur, mown lawn grass. The cherry, raspberry to blueberry fruit swells well in the mid-palate. Displays a gritty, tannic mouth feel and just never slows down as it skitters across the palate. Kind of reduced and over the top in its persistence.
