2010 David Coffaro Block 4 Dry Creek Valley

Holding up remarkably well. Bright cherry red color with some fading at the edges. Pleasant cherry aromas. The palate follows. Soft red fruits, cherries, bit of blueberry, spice. Picks up weight and depth with air, becomes spicier. Nicely resolved tannins, very nice acidity and balance. Finishes long with black cherries and anise notes. Not overly complex but pleasurable to drink. I'd drink these up over the next 2 years. 50% Zin; 25% Petite Sirah; 9% Carignan; 8% Syrah; 8% Peloursin. "B+"
