2018 Antiquum Farms Pinot Noir Passiflora Willamette Valley

Compared to Antiquum's 2018 Juel and Luxuria Pinots, the Passiflora is a bit backward. That's not a criticism, just an observation. It is dark fruited and a bit reticent on the nose. The fruit is intense and dark fruited. Cherries, blackberries and a bit of strawberry. Firm tannins that need time to soften. Great acidity and balance. Finishes long, spicy and dark fruited. Best to wait on these 2 to 3 years. Should be spectacular. "A-" with an upside.

Not a producer I'm familiar with, Charlie. Too many new ones to try.

Tom,

We were going to visit there this past May, but that trip got canceled for obvious reasons. You really have to want to visit because Antiquum Farm is not near anything else!

I picked up a mixed case of the Pinots and have been trying them. They are the best Oregon Pinots I have tasted (of course, I haven't tasted them all!). More importantly, Pat loves them. Do you really care what I think?
