2016 Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Etienne Henri

First bottle of the 2016. Light yellow-gold color. Minerals, lemons, herbs on the nose. Rich, beautifully detailed fruit. Lemons, honey, floral notes, hint of tropical fruits. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Brilliant, bracing acidity, great balance. Finishes long, long with bracing acidity, minerals, lemon/lime. Needs 2 to 3 years to peak. Will drink well for next 7 to 8 years. Great stuff. "A"

This producer always comes through and this cuvee is quite nice. I've not had the pleasure of tasting the 2016. If I did have any in the cellar, I doubt that I could keep my hands off of it for another 3 years!
