Trey will be ending his run at Basel Cellars in order to make his own wine. The new venture will, appropriately enough given Trey's rightful devotion to Pearl Jam, be called Sleight of Hand Cellars. Trey is the only Georgia Bulldog, Pearl Jam lovin' guy making wine in Walla Walla that I know of. Congratulations to Trey and Jen.

Trey is the only Georgia Bulldog, Pearl Jam lovin' guy making wine in Walla Walla that I know of. And, despite those qualities, he's still a good guy . Hopefully Trey's new label will continue his successful winemaking career and take him to the next level of "rock star" winemakers so that he'll be just as famous as Eddie!

I am hoping for Dissident Red and Why Go White. Or maybe even Evenflow Rose.

Oh man, I'd completely forgotten about The Dissident Red. I also read that Trey and Mark McNeilly were going to work together on One Louder Wine, whose name is a tribute to Spinal Tap.

Go Dawgs!
Good luck, Trey! (And let me know if you get some distribution in the great state of Kansas.)

Marshall and Michael,
Thanks for the well wishes! Opening the tasting room June 1st, with wines in the Seattle and Portland area no later than July 1st. The One Louder Wine Co. will launch next April or May, so watch out for that one as well! As for wine names, I was thinking more along the lines of Crazy Mary, so Mark McNeely and I could pour our wines next to each other....he'd have the Wild Eyed, I'd have the Crazy Mary...get it? Oh well. come and see me anyway...The tasting room is on 2nd Ave in downtown Walla Walla, across the street from the Marcus Whitman, and right next to Ash Hollow and the new Spring Valley tasting room. Cheers!
Trey

Trey will be ending his run at Basel Cellars in order to make his own wine.... "Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you." David St. Hubbins

That's about what I would expect from somebody named after the Patron Saint of Quality Footwear.
