We'll be in the area the first week in August. A search of the database didn't seem to produce anything too recent. We'll be there 3 full days.
Thanks,
BD

Here's the best single source for winery info:
http://www.wallawallawine.com/node/16
Some of my favorite wineries in the south of town:
Trust http://www.trustcellars.com (Tell Steve Brooks that Shorty sent you)
Amavi http://www.amavicellars.com/tasting-room/ (Tell Patty that Shorty sent you and try the Ceres)
Rulo http://www.rulowinery.com/wine.html (Tell Vicki and Kurt that Becky and Shorty sent you)
Pepper Bridge http://www.pepperbridge.com/ (outstanding Cabs & Merlot)
Also worth stopping at in the area are Waters, Saviah and Va Piano.
If you like big Merlots, visit Northstar.
**********************
EAST of town and the Airport area:
Do not miss Walla Walla Vintners http://wallawallavintners.com
(If Gordy or Myles are there, tell them Shorty sent you)
K Vintners http://www.kvintners.com
In the airport area which is just on the north side of High 12 from the above wineries:
Dunham, Five Star Cellars, Buty, SYZYGY,

Downtown try:
Seven Hills, Bergevin Lane, and the Vintage Wine Cellar
Marcus Whitman Hotel has a very nice bar.

West of town there are new wineries at Cougar Crest and Waterbrook. Terrific wines @ Long Shadows.
Slightly further west are side by side wineries of note:
Woodward Canyon http://www.woodwardcanyon.com
and L'Ecole 41 http://www.lecole.com
That should be enough to keep you busy for awhile!
As soon as you can make dinner reservations, especially for Saffron, Brasserie 4 or T Mac, DO IT.
Everything books up in summer.
Enjoy
Shorty

OK to BYO to any of the 3

There is a Starbucks on Main Street but right behind it on the side street is a locally owned place that's much better.

On Second Street, 2 doors from the Vintage Cellars Wine Bar is a wonderful cheese and sausage shop.

Make Long Shadows one of your stops.
You may need to call for an appointment.
They have a stable of 7 different wines all made by a
different wine making team including guys like Randy Dunn,
John Duval and Philippe Melka.
