Salmon hued orange with a pinkish tint, warm glow in the core while the rims turn all but hueless. The nose is relaxed unto laconic, not "tired" but quite content on the couch, strawberry, raspberry fruit with some brine and mud to clay to restrain sweetness, used tea bags and pulped oranges. In the mouth it's medium to full-bodied and sour, close to pickled. That cherry, strawberry, watermelon fruit starts off well but stomped down by the mid-palate by that earth, clay and twigginess. Here the citrus takes on a more high-toned grapefruit character. The acidity level is respectable, finishes with a lot of dry extract accruing on the tongue. Seems to have peaked very early, not a lot left to savor at this juncture. 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Gamay Noir.

Tessier rosés usually makes it on our table once or twice every summer. Holding them for more than a year after vintage (e.g.older than 2016) hasn't impressed me as rewarding. While I like them, they impress me as "buy and drink" rosés.

Hey, how'd you get the accent aigu on rose to work on this website? Every time I use diacritical marks I get the blank post problem.

The Tessier being held that long was a mistake, was not intentional.

Typed it (Alt + 898) instead of pasting it (and other text) from my word processing program.

Yeah, I come across some bottles I've held too long and wonder, "Why the heck is this still here?" Thanks for the note.

Ohhhh....of course....Ros898e. How's that??

I was scratching my head as to where I heard a wine named accent aigu. Sounds Basque.

Alas, I use a Mac computer so I think your method shall not work pour moi. I really would prefer to be able to use diacritical marks and curly quotes. But life is about flow.

Hi Al, thanks for the help. I actually do know how to acquire all the accents. It's just that some time ago every time I posted on WCWN with accents (or "curly quotes" for that matter) the post was blank. So, I now I actually go through the downloaded note from my Filemaker database and "clean up the text" removing accents and curly quotes before posting on WCWN.

It seems that you could post with the accent. I will try to do so in a separate response to this thread and see if anything has changed for the better on this matter.

Well, seems to be working for me, maybe something changed in the software. Good for me because it was a pain to have to do that clean up of the text.
