2013 Epoch Estate Veracity Paso Robles

Give this wine a lot of air, you'll be grateful you did. 49% Grenache, 34% Mourvedre, 17% Syrah. Sweet cherries on the nose. The palate shows black cherries, blueberries, lush, rich, not cloying, some sharp spice notes. Fine tannins, great acidity and balance. Lush finish that mirrors the palate with a bit more spice. This is not an elegant wine at all, but really fun to drink. I'd suggest decanting this wine or give it another 3 to 4 years before popping the cork. With air, it's just lovely. "A"
