2010 Yangarra Estate High Sands Grenache McLaren Vale

Black cherries on the nose. Lush fruit, blackberries, cherries. Bit of heat, but tolerable at this point. Plush tannins, decent acidity, good balance. Finishes long with bright cherry notes. With time it smooths out and the heat is less obvious. It becomes brighter and clearer. My guess is that this is on the downslope. I'd drink over the next 2 years. "B+"
