2015 Miani Sauvignon Zitelle Friuli

Honeyed yellow color. Deep melon nose with citrus notes. Intense citrus and melon fruit. Some vanilla oak but not overbearing. Richly textured. Bright and lively with food. Minerals and lemon on the mid-palate. Lively acidity and great balance. Finishes long with lemon notes and racy acidity. Yes, it's oak influenced but it's integrated beautifully. May need 2 years more to peak and drink well for 6 to 8 years. "A"

Tom,

Oddly enough I do remember (or at least my records do). It was $69/bottle. Would I pay that again? Probably not, but it was a wine that I enjoyed experiencing. I bought a mixed case of 4 different wines. So more notes to come in the future.
