2018 Walter Scott Chardonnay Cuvee Anne Willamette Valley

Lemon and Crème Brûlée aromas. Very nice, mid-weight fruit. Lemon, minerals, very Chablis-like. Nice acidity, good balance. Minerality is the defining element on the mid-palate. Finishes long with light lemon flavors and nice minerality. No discernible oak. The crispness, acidity and minerality all become more pronounced with air. I have not been overwhelmed with the Walter Scott Chardonnays before, but this is the best I have tried and well worth the wait. "A-"
