Bought a bunch of cheap CNP at auction and had it shipped. Largest shipment I've ever had by a mile - two cases.

Instead of CNP, I just got a full case of 2003 Gruaud Larose Grand Cru and another mixed case of Baudry, Arterberry Marsh Oregon Pinot, Bedrock Zin and a couple of other wines. No packing slip.

In the past, I've gotten a Unico and an Insignia shipped to me by mistake. I sent those back.

I recycle my shipping boxes and evidently the new label fell off as I got a box of 6 wines in the mail I hadn't ordered. I called the store where I recycle but they didn't sell any of the wines I received. There wasn't a current shipping number so it was impossible to trace who the shipper was. Needless to say, I didn't really enjoy the wines - a SB from NZ that tasted like you know what.

About 3 months ago someone sent me a bottle from DC, to my house. No one was there to sign for it for three days. I tried with many calls to change the shipping address or have it held. No luck. They wouldn't say who was sending it. I had no idea, asked around, nothing. It went back to the sender... who knows what I missed out on. And sorry I never thanked you, whoever you were! :^)

That's funny, David! You never even got to see what you missed!

I keep recycling my shippers in hopes of getting another "mystery" shipment.

Turns out the person whose two cases I got, is a Wine Berserker. Small world. Thought the name looked familiar!
