Depends on the era in which they were made. From the mid-90s I would let them get to 10 years. Though I'm but sure if they have the balance and structure to age.

Hopefully someone who has tried the oldest wines at release will chime in.


The early 90's wines I think were just tipping over the top if you like big wines. But if secondary characteristics are a factor then let them go.

We did think that the additional Carginan from the mid-90s on is making a difference in the flavor profile.
