I was talking to a friend yesterday and remarking that my homemade Negroni never tastes like the ones I get from a certain restaurant.

Since she loves the drink, I asked her how she made hers. We centered in on the Vermouth. Little did I know, my crappy $4 Triburno was apparently the issue.

I swapped that out for the $30 Antica Forumla Vermouth and the difference was stark. I now have professional Negroni's at home, and will enjoying every evening....
