I got a chance to try some wines in Italy I'd heard about but never got around to. All were great! (Why aren't more of the bottles sold out of the stores in Italy cooked, as most seemed to have no AC?)

These two went down so quickly and were inexpensive quality wines. I need to have cab franc from the Veneto more often.

In Rome at a very nice seafood restaurant (I'll look for the name) in the Trastavere neighborhood, I really enjoyed the:
Ceretto Arneis,a white wine from Piedmont. This was my first Arneis, slightly frizzante and totally refreshing/satisfying.

In Umbria at a very nice restaurant, I had the Arnoldo Caprai Montefalco Rosso from Umbria, which I really enjoyed. I'd love to try this again. Recommended.

We also had some wine from Montepulciano d' Abbruzzo/Abbruzzi that I really enjoyed.

Time to branch out!

Thanks
