Until recently, I don't recall this artificial closure registering with me. However, in the past 3 months, I've pulled 3 bottle that have used Nomacorc products. Looking at the website (Nomacorc website and video)
the site claims that one in 3 bottles of wine in the U.S. is closed with a Nomacorc product. Who else is seeing this product? What's your reaction to it? That it's made from sugar cane products fascinates me. Zero carbon footprint because the growth of the sugar cane offsets the carbon emitted from harvest and production? Any date behind that claim?
