Loring Wine Company Chardonnay Durell Vineyard Sonoma Coast Ca. 2012

Mere impressions; no careful notes taken. The golden apple color does carry over to the nose and palate where toasted coconut comes through deftly, yet distinctly. A truly fun and interesting wine. 14.9% alc. 05.13.17. Highly Recommended.

Loring Wine Company Parmelee Hill Vineyard Chardonnay Sonoma Coast, Ca. 2012

Virtually unchanged from 2 years ago: the same color as a fresh picked, yet to be cleaned asian pear. In the glass it is absolutely stunning. The same apple, baked apple pie spices, asian pear as last time, but the butter seems to have fallen off a touch and delightfully replaced with toasted coconut. This is one delicious Parmalee Hills. 14.9% alc. With cheeses, molé and country ham while watching “The Winding Road” about the Carters and country music. 05.06.17. Highly Recommended.
