QbA Trocken Feinherb Fass 17 AP #15
Deepening golden hue, a few glints of green, while it looks a touch older has a brilliant shine. Heavy, cloying nose of apricot paste, poached peaches, pineapple alongside beeswax, lanolin, honey and sour grapefruit pith, for all its heft it punches well and shows promise for future tertiary aromas. Medium-bodied, the tart profile helps compensate for the weakish acidity. Biting white to pink grapefruit and lemon citrus, bolstered by stone to mineral notes. Less honeyed here. At the same time the passion fruit, pineapple, nectarine, peach, papaya fruit firms up substantially. Ends with wafts of mint, sage and other sweet herbs. Great movement in the mouth.
