Burgundy, France
Pools deeply into the glass, green tinted straw hue, distorts vision and stays full to the rims. Clean and fresh nose of orange to lime spritz, wet stone, mint, lilacs, offers pear, apple, peach fruit scents of average proportions. Medium-bodied, the acidity stronger than expected even as it starts off with a vanillin creaminess before segueing into a brief moment of minerality and longer lasting stoniness. Lively powdered sugar sweetness to the lime, lemon, pink grapefruit citrus, ends with tangy bite. The peach, apricot, pear, apple, nectarine fruit steady not too juicy, not too dry. Pitch perfect, nothing stands out about it yet it delivers all you wanted from it.
