The dark gold color pools deeply into the glass giving it a look of solidity, surface shine prevents it from developing any dullness, Crisp toast to the nose along with a warmed caramel element, spiced orange peel, good ripeness in the pear, apricot to persimmon and kiwi fruit scents, you suspect they were more angular in their youth, violets and some wet slate finish it off. Full-bodied, the acidity comes at you from weird angles and really does not create forward momentum not especially dry things out. Toasty here too and more buttery than caramelly, brings added spine to that pear, apple, apricot, green melon fruit. The orange, lemon citrus has minimal bite. There is a cleaner spring water, river stone feel through the finish which is nice. The blend of grapes has it genially meandering across your palate. Unspecified percentages of Tocai Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling. (Composite Cork)
