Gemischter Satz
Light yellow to white straw, extremely shiny and reflective without sacrificing layering, a tough feat to pull off given the lighter hue. Violets, rose petals and orange blossom give it a pretty lift in the nose, has a powdered sugar element close to bubblegum, conversely there's snap peas, lemongrass and wet clay to get it going in the other direction, nice mix of apricot, red cherry, red apple, peach fruit, not tropical but not simple nor boring. Medium-bodied, has a pleasing fizziness to it which breaks up some of the blockish feel of the acidity. Honey, orange to white grapefruit citrus immediately get the sweet/sour contrast going. More red cherry to strawberry fruit here in interplay with apple, pear, apricot flavors. Stone, slate notes, very clean and upfront about itself. Its gregariousness makes it excellent for chugging but the lack of distinct personality may make food pairing more difficult. Unspecified percentages of Welschriesling, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay. (Screwcap: Stelvin)
