Tried this Tokaji over the weekend:
1. Royal Tokaji LateHrvst (11%; Furmint/Hárslevelű/Muscat de Lunel; SaH: 29.1%; RS: 10.1%; www.Royal-Tokaji; Wilson/Daniels) Mad/Tokaji/Hungary 2015: Med.dark gold color; strong grapey/passito-like/peachy/ripe pear slight botrytis/apricotty bit earthy bit complex nose; soft quite sweet rather grapey/ripe pear/peachy very slight apricotty/botrytis bit earthy flavor; med.long bit soft very strong grapey/late hrvsty/ripe peach slight botrytis/apricotty slight tangy bit earthy finish; more like a passito than a Jr.Tokaji. $20.00/500 ml(KK)

1. This is actually an absolutely delicious late harvest white more like a passito than anything. Reminds some of a German Auslese from a hot vintage like '75 where there was not much botrytis. It is advertised as a dessert wine for early consumption, but I see no reason the wine won't go out 10 yrs or longer. Delicious stuff at a great price.
