Deep purple in color even today, opaque core, thin red magenta rims. Even with generous amounts of cedar, sandalwood and damp earth very little here speaks of a wine its age, vanilla fudge, cocoa, caramel, fresh boysenberry, cassis to plum fruit scents. Full-bodied, creamy mouth feel, nonexistent tannins, can feel acidic but probably not technically that acidic. More milk chocolate and butterscotch with gingerbread and violets in reserve. There's a green apple edge to the raspberry, blackberry, black cherry fruit. Creates a big inner mouth perfume before finally finishing. 59% Cabernet Sauvignon (Morisoli Vineyard, Herb Lamb Vineyard, Beckstoffer-To Kalon Vineyard), 25% Merlot (Boeschen Vineyard), 16% Cabernet Franc (Beckstoffer-To Kalon Vineyard).

*Made an inventory mistake and forgot I had this. Very pleasantly surprised at how it help up, being a second wine and all. Doff of the cap to Mike and KL back then.
