Tensley Wine Three Creek Vineyard Syrah Santa Barbara Co. 2005

Bright purple; man, this just doesn’t look 13 years old. The profile is the same as it has been: cassis, blackberry and coffee dominate the palate while elements of vanilla and eucalyptus tease out room from the sides. The tannins are rounder but not fully integrated just yet. They will always be the structure on which this wine is built. A tremendous amount of sediment coating the shoulder while still depositing an abundant amount in the bottom of the bottle and the final pour. So good we drained the first bottle surprisingly fast, then decided to pull another that disappeared even faster. 15.2% alc. With Shack attack burgers. 06.14.18. Highly Recommended.
