2011 Copain Chardonnay Laureles Grade Monterey


One of the best Copain Chardonnays I have had. Crisp, precise and minerally on the nose. The palate continues the lovely mineral note with some honey and pepper thrown in. Crisp acidity and a lovely mouthfeel. A light, pleasing finish, long with lemon notes and minerals. No discernible oak in this wine. There is a Chablis like quality to this wine. If you like them oaky and buttery, skip this wine. With broiled swordfish and sautéed squash and broccoli. A
