Chateau de Beaucastel Blanc Rhone 2015

So young it hasn’t had time to develop much color. It remains a light yellow. The nose is full with white pepper, orange blossom, tropical fruit and acacia flower. The palate tracks the nose with precision and fullness. The elements seem fully integrated with excellent mouthfeel and finish of mineral. Incredibly balanced wine, but perhaps heading toward a dumb stage. The opening wine for Col. Bob’s repeat appearance. Decanted. 14% alc. With assorted cheeses. 10.07.18. Recommended leaning toward Highly Recommended.
