Le Cret Louison
Filmy and impenetrable black core, basic scarlet red to brick red rims, arguably looks a bit advanced. The nose comes off as unfocused with a saline, scorched earth to cracked leather core, roasted feel in the blackberry, cherry fruit, long dried pulped grapefruits, it's all angry and throwing elbows left and right. In the mouth it's medium-bodied, tries to get sappy but the acidity washes that away quickly. That roasted quality persists here with a metallic to tomato skin ring. This makes it hard to fully access the fully ripened plum, currant fruit. Turbulent retronasal experience of pressed flowers, grapefruit, and mineral dust. With some air time settles down a little but still leaves you suspecting this is not the most representative bottle.

Note: Bummer that I have one more bottle left, hoping for a better showing.
