2004 Ravenswood Zinfandel Old Hill Ranch

A lovely zinfandel just starting a graceful decline. Still aromatic with bright cherries. The fruit is still vibrant and clear, just the slightest hint of fading. Raspberries and black cherry fruit, fully resolved tannins, nice acidity, good balance . Finishes with a moderately long raspberry and brown sugar element. This was probably bolder a few years ago, but there is something pleasant about how graceful and elegant it has become. If you have any I'd drink them over the next couple of years. B+
