Bright with excellent clarity the core offers rust red shades which segue to brick red and orange, hinting at yellow at the outermost edge. Leather, mud caked straw, dried orange pulp and pressed flowers give the nose an aged feel, the cherry, red raspberry fruit shuffles along quietly, there's more fullness in the nostrils than expressive scents. Medium-bodied, the tannin stands its ground but isn't itching for a fight. As a result, the innate sweetness of the strawberry, cherry fruit shines through. Elevation in rose petals and white citrus, more stony than grassy. Tree bark, twigs and sandalwood. Cleanliness may be its best attribute, this allowing for the fruit to show. Length is good and unforced, quite tasty, demure but not devoid of personality.
