2017 Spottswoode Sauvignon Blanc

What a difference a glass makes. I had previously drunk this from a Schott Zweisel Pure Sauvignon Blanc glass I use for most white wines. An OK wine, a bit grassy for my taste. Tonight it was from a Schott Zweisel Forte Burgundy glass. It was a different wine. A bright citrus nose. Lovely rich fruit, rounded, no sharp edges, green apples and lemon. Not grassy at all. Nice acidity. Moderately long on the finish echoing the palate. 36% Napa fruit, 64% Sonoma fruit. B+
