2016 Domaine Louis Michel Chablis

This has always been a favorite of ours, but the 2016 was a disappointment when I tasted it in July. Flash forward 5 months and what a difference. Honey and crisp green apples on the nose. Granny Smith apples, lemon and pears on the palate. Much better concentration than my previous tasting. Good acidity (not as crisp as I recall prior vintages, but still good). Moderate finish of citrus and a bit of spice. Not as good as prior vintages, but a very enjoyable wine for a Wednesday evening. B
