PierreSparr Riesling Schoenenbourg GrandCru AC: Alsace GrandCru (13%; Unoaked; www.Vins-Sparr.com; Wilson-Daniels) PierreSparr/Beblemheim 2015: Med.dark gold color; beautiful floral/mango/R strong Mosel valve oil/petrol/pungent fairly complex very perfumed nose; quite tart/tangy fairly rich/lush maybe off-dry (0.5% r.s.?) quite floral/mango/R strong Mosel valve oil/petrol slight chalky/mineral/steely some complex flavor; very long/lingering fairly tart/metallic strong R/floral/mango rather rich/lush/slightly off-dry some patrol/Mosel valve oil finish; a lovely big/rich Alsace R that will go out another 10-15 yrs; beautiful R. $69.00/$30.00 (SFW&S)

1. Found this at Susan's FW&S this weekend. Originally priced at $69, but marked way down by the distributor. I liked this R quite a lot, though it seemed a slightly off-dry and maybe a bit too close to the Z-H paradigm to my taste.
