This wine has aged beautifully. Dark cherry and anise on the nose. Ripe full fruit, nothing faded here, but layered with age. Dark cherries, anise, hints of dark chocolate. A burst of bright red fruit on the mid-palate. Smooth tannins perfectly balanced with acidity and fruit. Finishes with good length, dark fruits, sharp spice. This can go for another 5 years. "A"

Hmmmm. Beckmen is a wnry that has sorta fallen off my radar. Haven't had anything recent from them, though.
