Ahh, the eternal question about scoring wines! I try to give a grade just to indicate some relative view of quality. Expensive wines can suck and inexpensive ones can wow me. So, no, I donít consider price per se, but I do occasionally mention in the note if I think a wine was a good value or way overpriced for what it is. At the end of the day itís all a bit (or a lot) subjective.

Over on Cellar Tracker I accommodate the prevailing use of the 100 point scale even if I donít buy into it. Can someone tell me the difference between a 93 point wine and a 94? Read the actual note, ignore the points.
