Tried these two last night at dinner:
1. Selten Riesling Red Wine Dd'O: Bierzo (9%; SkurnikWines; Plnted in 2001) RaulPerez/Espana 2019: Light golden color; pleasant floral/R/mango/bit pineapple rather slatey/mineral quite attractive nose; quite tart/tangy/acidic rather lean/austere slightly off-dry very light R/mango/floral mostly steely/chalky/slatey/mineral rather thin/eviscerated flavor; med.short quite tart/tangy/bit screechy very light floral/R/mango bit off-dry some steely/chalky/stoney quite thin/lean/eviscerated finish; a pleasant enough nose but very lean/eviscerated/vapid on the palate; way over priced at $49.00 (AV)

Tascante Buonora DOC: EtnaBianco (12%; DallaTerra/Napa; Carricante) Conte Tasca d'Almerita/Castiglione/Sicilia 2019: Med.light yellow color; attractive floral/carnations/gardenias some stony/mineral pleasant enough Etna nose; lightly tart light floral/carnations light stony/chalky flavor; med.long tart/tangy light floral/carnations bit chalky/stony finish; a perfectly pleasant Etna Bianco but just that; not a great example of Carricante. $23.00 (AV)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Selten: I was quite surprised to see a Riesling from Bierzo, where the main white grape is Godello. Even more surprising to see it labeled as "Red Wine", which it was, of course, not. I was expecting quite a lot of this rather rare wine. The nose was pleasant enough, but it was utterly vapid on the palate.
