2000 Scott Paul Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard Santa Lucia Highlands

From Scott Wright's early days when he made wine in California before moving to Oregon. Translucent red with faint browning. Pleasant, earthy, cherry aromas. Sharp edged on the palate, cherries, strawberries. Seems a bit faded. Fine tannins, sharp acidity, good balance. Finishes moderately long, black cherries, spicy. Past prime but still drinkable. I wouldn't wait on these if you have any. "B-" and fading.
