2007 David Coffaro Aca Modot

Dark red at the core, translucent at the edges. Bright berry and spice aromas. Bright, spicy fruit on the palate, cherries, raspberries. Smooth tannins, bright acidity, good balance. Finishes a bit hot with black cherries. Over the course of 45-60 minutes, it switched to brighter and lusher and then became muddled. Nice enough on opening, but I'd drink up. Somewhere between a "B" and a "B+" over the first 30 minutes.
