2009 Saxum Broken Stones

Dark red with slight fading at rim. Plums and blueberries on the nose. Plush fruit, plums, blueberries, roast meat. Intense. Smoother with air. Cherries on the midpalate. Firm tannins, nice acidity, good balance. Needs 3 to 4 years to develop. Finishes long with dark fruits. Great potential but still a bit primary. Wait 3 to 4 years and drink for 10 to 12 after that. If you drink it now, decant for 60 minutes or so. "A-"
