2010 Carlisle Three Birds Red Wine Sonoma County

Bright purple-red color, fading to the edges. Attractive aromas of cherries and moist earth. Bright and clear on the palate, cherries, blueberries, anise. Fine tannins, crisp acidity, nice balance. Finishes long and gradual with blueberries prominent and some cherry notes. Lovely minerality across the palate. I'd say this was at peak and would drink over the next 3 to 4 years. 83% Grenache; 15% Mourvedre; 2% Syrah. "A-"
