2007 Copain Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Vineyard

Translucent brown-red color. Faint, spicy nose. Strawberry, cherry fruit, bit muted but pleasant. soft tannins, nice acidity, excellent balance. Finishes moderately long with cherries and dusty spice. Quite nice but seemed on the downhill slope at first. Picks up weight and spice with air, brighter strawberry notes as well. Drink next 2 to 3 years. "B+"
