1993 Cakebread Zinfandel Howell Mountain

Translucent cherry red color. The cork was in pristine condition. Faint raspberry aroma. Bright and clear on the palate, bit sharp, cherries and raspberry fruit. Fine tannins, bright acidity, good balance. Lingering finish of blackberries. For its age it has held up brilliantly. Very drinkable (if past prime). If you have any, I do suggest drinking up. "B+" but on the downside.
