2021 Carlisle Zinfandel Piner-Olivet Ranches Russian River Valley

Beautiful red-purple color with faint translucence. Intoxicating nose of violets and raspberries. Plush (but not fat) on the palate. Raspberry, blackberry, warm spices. Lovely. Soft, precise tannins and great balance. Finishes long, pretty and red-fruited. Picks up weight with time in the glass. Lovely, old-school Zin. May improve with another 2 years or so but no need to wait. Drink next 6 to 8 years. "A-"
