2007 C. Beck Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Barlow Vineyard
Dark red color. Dark fruited on the nose. Precise and intense fruit, black cherries, blackberries, hint of anise. Still a bit primary even at 16 years from vintage. Well resolved tannins, nice acidity and balance. Finishes moderately long, spicy and dark fruited. Needs lots of air. Nice enough but not much complexity. Should drink at this level for another 5+ years. "B+"
