2009 Copain Pinot Noir Monument Tree Anderson Valley

Dark red at the core, fading to translucence at the rim. Aromas of cranberry and raspberry. Light and precise on the palate, bright cherries, strawberries, spice. Fine tannins, nice acidity and balance. Finishes gradual and subtle with raspberry notes. Gets brighter with food. Lovely older Pinot with lots of life even if a bit past prime. I'd drink over the next 4 years. "B+"
